FOOTBALLER Gary Doolan died in a road crash on his way home from a pre-season friendly match in London Colney on Saturday. Gary, known as Dooza, played for London Colney Reserves as well as a number of other clubs including Cuffley, Elliott Star, Colney Heath and Potters Bar.

The Centre for Economics and Business Research says completions in England in 2008 will be nearly 20 per cent lower than in 2007, falling from 175,000 to 141,000. This is against a government target of 185,000.
