Dusty Springfield attended my old school - St.Anne's Convent School in Little Ealing Lane.
In her autobiography you see her in some group shots, wearing the distinctive uniform and standing on the green at the front of the house where photos were always taken.
I wonder if there are any Blue Plaques for Ms. Springfield as she was an incredibly influencial British singer, bringing Black American music that was never played into the mainstream British scene.
Due to her rather exciting life, she was apparently struck off the school's records ..... we never really knew if that was true or an urban myth!!
